It.s a good idea to start by noting down, from
the top of your head, the names of some researchers who have influenced your
practice. Spread your net as widely as
you like! Literacy learning is informed
by many different kinds of research, following many different paradigms.

Now try to identify areas of uncertainty about

you hope some existing research might provide some sort of an answer. These may or may not relate to the work of the
researchers you.ve cited above.
