How will you build differentiation into your planning? Think about the particular class you have in mind for the SOW and as you plan the different moves and core activities, keep a few specific pupils in mind who you think represent the range of learners in the class. Ask yourself at each stage: is this work accessible to all the pupils and is it challenging for all?

What is your starting point and what are your key moves/core activities in the progression of learning?
Where will your resources come from?
Will you be using different pupil groupings in the course of the SOW: individual, pairs, groups, whole class?
